You’ve chosen the yard for you but it’s full – what now?

Firstly don’t be disheartened, a full yard is a sign of happy contented livery owners, but the horse world is fast moving and therefore a space may open up shortly.

If you can wait ask for your name to be put on a waiting list and then call them on a regular basis to identify if a space is coming available. Before you know it you’ll be moving into your new livery yard.

Of course, if you don’t have the luxury of time then go back to your original wish-list and see if being a little more flexible with your requirements opens up more local yards for you to consider.
